Biography
Leonie Hundertmark, M.A., studied music education at the Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität in Munich and at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music (Australia). During her studies, she held a scholarship of the Cusanuswerk and, in addition to the LMU exchange scholarship, received a scholarship for graduate students from the DAAD. Prior to her work in music education at LMU, she worked in the pedagogical team of a daycare center in the field of early musical education. Subsequently, she was employed for one year as a teacher of music at a Munich high school and was involved in voice training and biography work in a Munich retirement home. As a singer and music educator, she has participated in numerous musical projects on and off stage. She is currently pursuing her PhD in music education at the LMU with Prof. Dr. Kertz-Welzel.
Her research interests include music psychology, music theater pedagogy, cultural education in the context of migration and refuge, and also music and well-being across the human lifespan.
